Are you looking for a way to put that youthful energy to good use? Why not give your students a chance to help kids in Papua New Guinea? Here are some of the ways you can get them involved:

Host a spectacle drive at your school
Avoidable blindness is a huge issue in PNG but it can be addressed. So many of us have pairs of extra spectacles laying around our house we could donate to help give sight to someone. Even a pair of sunnies given to a child can help protect eyes and prevent future vision problems.

Book a tour on YWAM’s medical ship when it comes to your area
Come on board a real-live medical ship and see how it all happens. In addition to a 20 minute tour on board the ship, students will be invited to the PNG Experience & Awareness Pavilion where they will learn about the culture of Papua New Guinea including some of the challenges they are facing in and around the Millennium Development Goals.

Have a YWAM team share with your school
Dynamic, multimedia presentations from teams of passionate young adults will share stories of what is happening in Papua New Guinea and around the world. Watch your students come alive as they hear the needs of real people and discover how they can make a difference
