In July 2010 an Aussie & PNG Ship DTS will start in Townsville her home port. The MV Pacific Link will have arrived after touring the Australian eastern seaboard promoting Papua New Guinea and its Millennium Development Goals.
This year we are offering limited spots on our Aussie & PNG Ship DTS on board the MV Pacific Link for 12 people aged between 18-35yrs. So be fast! This is a rare opportunity to explore the top of Australia then onto Papua New Guinea helping provide health care & community development in the Gulf Provence then returning to Townsville.
What is a DTS you may ask? Have you ever dreamed of adventure, doing something that counts with your life, helping people, seeing your life change, learn new skills and develop deep friendships along the way while encountering your faith with God? At each port you will receive life-changing teaching from a variety of international speakers that fly in to join the ship en route. You will also have the opportunity to put your learning into action as you work on the ship, relate to those on board, experience new cultures and meet with people in ports along the way.
Do I need a medical background? Skilled or unskilled, health professionals, marine specialists, crew, businessmen, male or female, all are welcome to join.
